What We've Been Doing

I blinked once and October was over. I blinked again and now it's mid-November. And since I can't blame my not-blogging on a spotless house or a new hobby, here's what I have been doing:

1. Halloween stuff. Costumes, pumpkins, and the like.

Blimey!

2. Baking. My first (and last) attempt at Thanksgiving rolls.

I was stressed the entire time and they turned out awful.

3. Turning our dining room into Sophie's room. It went from this:

To this:

It's not quite done...

4. Loving on my little Hoggle, who is almost 8 months.

5. Spending time with my darling kids.

6. And finally, fielding zillions of questions a day from my favorite 3 year old.

The questions range from, "Mom, where is ancient history? Can you point it out to me on the map?" (think of the Primary song, Book of Mormon Stories) to "Does Santa wear underpants?"

????????????

They are so STINKIN' cute! I love their costumes and can't wait to see the new room all done! I am excited for y'all! :)

WE are at the "WHY?" stage and it can be frustrating, but I guess I am being tested for patience (which I do not have much of)!

So funny and cute! You are always so clever! I love the pictures of the kids' costumes. I never saw them dressed up.

At least Riley's questions are funny so you can get a good laugh at them! I love the one about ancient history. He's pretty smart to ask where it is!!

P.S. I am about to post a super super easy roll recipe on my blog. I just found it online last night and made them with our dinner. They won't be world famous, but they were yummy (kind of a mix between a roll and a biscuit...Barry really liked them with butter and honey and I ate mine with a little jam). No kneading, no rising, just mix, pour into muffin tins and bake for 15 minutes. Check it out if you're interested!

It's really just not fair that we don't live closer. I hate it!!! That said, at least I get to talk on the phone to Sissy and Riley. And YAY! for pictures of Sophie! She is so cute!!! I love the Halloween costumes - the pirate turned out really well. I love you and I love your kids.

Even if your kids drive you crazy at times, you have to admit you have some SUPER cute kids! I just can't get enough of the pictures! I love, love, love Sophie in Riley's lion costume; she is so cute! I'm impressed you are making a fourth bedroom. I guess you can't handle Riley and Marissa sharing anymore? Oh, can't wait to see you soon!
