This is Sophie.
She turned 2 on April 4. You can see why we call her Sophie the Party Girl. She's always in the mood to have fun. We also call her Hoggle.
Hoggie.
Gongoler.
Gongoloo.
Bunny.
Bun.
Sophster.
Anything, really. Two important things to know about Sophie:
1. She loves her paci. Even more than Marissa, I think. But then, it's so hard to remember what life was like a year ago. We're slowly regaining out sanity around here.
Then she tries (unsuccessfully) to take her shirt off too. I used to care, but now, not so much. We live in Alabama after all.
Other things of interest:
- Her favorite words are Mine and No.
- She's a great eater but a so-so sleeper.
- She gets into everything. Recently I found her on top of the counter sucking on a cough drop from the medicine cabinet. A few hours later I found her on the counter again with a big wad of gum in her mouth. I may seem negligent, but man, the girl is fast!
- Usually the older sister is the bossy one, but Sophie is by far the bossier one of the two. Sweet, mothering Marissa puts up with a lot of 'tude from her baby sis. Sophie rewards her by pulling her hair and laughing hysterically while doing so.
- She's a daddy's girl and waves and shouts, "Hi daddy!" over and over when he gets home.
- She is definitely more spice than sugar.

She is so stinking cute! I think she and Adam would get a long well. On second thought, the house might be totally destroyed if they spent any time together. : )
Wow. That is hard to believe she is 2. I am loving her hair and her style with clothes. Hope you are doing well.
Love her! Love this post. I wish I weren't a stranger to her. What a darling little girl. Great job on the video too! I think it's hysterical that she wants to strip down to her diaper every day. :) :)
You know what 2 means...time for another one! She is so dang cute. I love her blonde curls too!
She is just about the cutest girl I have ever seen! I do like a spicy two-year-old . . . and I hope you blog more often. :)
Love the updates. Happy belated Birthday Sophie!
She sounds so much like Maya. They should be quite the pair this summer :)
She is adorable! I can't believe how big she has gotten. All of your kids are cuties!
Hope you are well.
I love that little spicy 'tude! Love her party face and could she get any cuter? seriously! I LOVE her cheeks...like Laney's. So kissable and smooshable. :)
Glad to finally have you back in blogland. Hopefully we won't wait as long for another post? lol
Wow - you guys are so good to take so many pictures of the youngest child - in my family my little brother had two photos taken his entire life - birth and graduation.
Very cute! Nice work.
cute! Like Janie, I'm so sad she doesn't even know me. But, here's to playing this summer! When did Ryan finally break down and pay the flooring workers to get tile? Looks great! I love that she has attitude. Branson is more feisty and bossy than Adam too.
Sara, you really do have the cutest kids. Second to mine, of course;) Really, she is a doll! Can't believe she is two now. WOW! Thanks for posting! I miss you!
Oh Sara. I am crying my eyes out as I type. Sophie and HER Trey Trey are two of a kind. He's trying so hard to say her name every day and he almost has it. I can't believe it has been 2 1/2 years since you tearingly told me Sophie was on her way. No one else would have felt my sorrow as you did. And no one else was as supportive and loving as you during my tough and trying pregnancy with my miracle of a little boy. I look at Sophie and my heart swells with love more that I could ever describe to you. You and Ryan know that Robert and I love your children as if they were our own. I can't believe our babies are growing up so quickly. Happy Birthday "Baby Sophie"! Mamma Miss Allison loves you with all her heart baby girl and so do Mr. Robert, Ella and YOUR Trey-Trey.
cutearific!
Hi Sara, I cannot believe that she is 2. What a cute little girl. Your kids all have such fun personalities!
How are you guys? I am missing an occassional opportunity to run into you and catch up. Take Care!
Cute cute! I remember when your oldest was this young (and younger)... where does the time go?
